Xbox: Controller renders and packaging design - art direction
As the 3D art director on these projects, my job was to oversee the CG product imagery that’s used on the package and any point of sale materials. It means sweating the details and making sure everything about the product looks true to life whether you see the box in store or online. These controllers are surprisingly complex, with different materials, grips, triggers, coatings, and soft goods.
Additionally, I helped guide the concepts and execution of the the artwork that the product lives in, so we can help express the unique personalities and features of each design. This is a sampling of some of my favorites.
